LEGO Marvel Avengers Special Editions & Trailer

As loud as you can now – ‘Avengers Assemble’

Regardless of your age, Lego games are pretty amazing for kids and adults. So if you add a Marvel Avengers theme, it’s got a be a sure fire winner – so how would you feel if the stakes were raised further via special editions.

That’s right, two special editions to be precise. Lego Marvel Avengers is due for release on the 26th of January 2016 and is set to be the biggest one yet; with over 200 characters, new team moves, unique super moves and an overhaul on the menu navigation system – it seems like Tony Stark himself has had some technical input.

As per the pictures above, the Quinjet version comes with an actual mini toy you can build yourself – I can already picture myself zooming around the front room making the noises with this. The other version includes the Avengers Adventurer Character Pack, extra characters are always a welcome bonus for me. Just be aware that these are limited editions, best to speak to your preferred shop of choice to get one as once they’re gone – they’re gone.

As you’re all awesome people you all deserve a little treat, how about a trailer to show us the open world we will be facing – time to start the Lego hype:

Looking pretty sweet don’t you think, Warner Brothers describes this beautifully:

The NEW Open World Trailer for LEGO Marvel’s Avengers introduces players to the expansive streets of open world New York City, as well as additional HUB environments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe to freely roam and explore. LEGO Marvel Manhattan is bigger and better than ever before with brand new characters and gameplay mechanics to utilise while adventuring through the sprawling concrete jungle. Hyper jump off skyscrapers with Hulk, use Quicksilver to speed run over water or even play as giant characters like the menacing Fing Fang Foom who can grow to the size of buildings.

There are 8 open worlds to explore and to discover, pack your bags as you will be visiting:

  • New York City
  • Asgard
  • Barton Farm
  • Malibu
  • S.H.I.E.L.D. Base Exterior
  • Sokovia
  • South Africa
