Final Fantasy 7 Remake Episodes To Be As Big As A Full Game
Square Enix are currently working on a remake of Final Fantasy 7 and according to Producer Yoshinoro Kitase and Director Tetsuya Nomura the game is big, very big. So big in fact that it can’t be released as one whole game but will be split into episodes like the TellTale games we all know and love.
The pair was a little sparing with the details but said that each episode will be the size of a complete game. This has left fans of the series with some questions that are as big as the game. For example, exactly how long will each episode really be? And how long will we have to wait between episodes?
Regarding the size of the game Square Enix did have this to say, “It means instead of concluding in one entry, multiple entries are being considered in development. Each entry will have its own unique story. As a gaming experience, each entry will have the volume of content equal to a full-sized game.”
It’s interesting that Square Enix chose to go with episodes for the FF7 remake. As games get bigger could this be a format that we see more often with big titles? There isn’t much in the way of details as of yet but we will let you know as soon as we find out anymore.
