Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor Fight for UFC2 Cover

EA has announced that the UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and the UFC interim featherweight champion will fight for the honor of joining ‘Rowdy’ Ronda Rousey on the cover of the latest UFC game.

This is the first time in EA Sport history in which the winner of a real-world sports event will have the opportunity to be included on a video game’s cover.

Jamie McKinlay, Vice President of Marketing at EA Sports, stated that “Fight for the Cover is another way we are bringing an exciting experience to the fans,” and that “this is a huge moment in UFC and EA Sports history, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

Fans can participate by predicting the winner at ufc.com/EASports. As well as picking whether Aldo or McGregor will win the fight players will be able to pick the round the fight will be won and whether it will be won by submission, knockout or decision. Fans will then be able to witness there prediction come to life through a game play video shareable on social media.

The match takes place on Saturday, December 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Nevada and, as said by UFC President Dana White, “Is without a doubt one of the most anticipated events in UFC history.”

UFC 2 will release in spring 2016.
