Batman: Arkham Knight Removed From Store, Unplayable

In what can only be described as a strange occurance, the Standard Edition of Batman: Arkham Knight has done it’s best Houdini impression and disappeared from the Xbox Store, yet the Premium Edition, Season Pass and all the DLC remain.

Perhaps even more curious still is that digital owners are being greeted with a message saying “Sorry, we can’t launch this right now, thanks for your patience”, and that even if you still buy the premium edtion, the game still won’t load.

So what could this mean? As of right now, both Microsoft and Rocksteady haven’t commented on this situation. Whether there’s been a system error or the effect of business decisions remains to be seen, but this story is certainly one to keep an eye on. Have you been greeted with this error message?
