Platinum Games developing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game.

Are you a fan of heroes in a half shell? Well then we have some good news for you. It seems that there’s a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) game in the works.

The game, which has the working title “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan”, is being published by none other than the franchise licensing masterminds themselves Activision, and the developer? The brilliant beings behind the recent Transformers: Devastation (see here for an in depth review on that title) Platinum Games.

You’d be forgiven for assuming that this game will be a beat ’em up, given that the previous two titles developed by Platinum Games and published by Activision have both been licensed from popular cartoons and have both been beat ’em ups, those being Transformers: Devastation and The Legend of Korra, however what the exact premise will be for the TMNT game will be remains to be seen.

With the game already submitted to Brazilian and Australian classification boards there’s a high chance this could be the next game we see from Platinum, although it may be to early to tell when exactly at this stage.
