Xbox One Apps List – Part 2

Hey there again, I’m glad to see you came back to see more of the list of apps available for your Xbox One – in case you missed part one then click here. I didn’t want to overload myself by putting all the apps on one page, so now we are all suitably refreshed shall we carry on with what we started? So if you’re ‘appy’ and you know it, read down there (sorry, no more ‘appy’ jokes from now on)

halo channel

Halo Channel – The Halo Channel is your home to experience award winning original Halo programming, the best in community-created content, tips to improve your game, and the ability to access to deep background information about the Halo universe and story – all through a custom-designed and personalized digital network.


Hasbro Game Channel – Hasbro, the very well known toy and board game company that aims to “make the world smile”, have teamed up with another well known company, game publisher and developer of many successful game series, Ubisoft, to announce a new source of family fun and entertainment: The Hasbro Game Channel.


IGN – They provide news and reviews on video games, but you awesome loyal people already know that Xbox One UK is the place to be 🙂


Khan Academy – This app provides access to thousands of educational videos on a range of different topics. The non-profit organization provides its video’s complete free of charge and makes them available to anyone in the world. No ads, and no regional restrictions.


Machinima – Machinima programs to a community passionate about video games, animation, movies, TV, and the other endless forms of pop culture. Again, you awesome and beautiful people already know Xbox One UK still is the place to be 🙂


MLB.TV – A nice and new way to watch live baseball games as well as replay full games from the archives. As always, blackout rules apply, and you need to have an Xbox Live Gold subscription as well as a Premium subscription.


MLG – Here is the global leader in eSports. MLG operates, the  number 1 online broadcast network for professional level competitive gaming; the MLG Pro Circuit, the longest-running eSports league in North America; and GameBattles, the largest cross platform online gaming tournament system with 9 million registered users across the globe.


National Hockey League – The NHL app on our conole brings us live games, replays, classic games and videos from the NHL VideoCenter, plus controller-free entertainment with the power of kinect.


NBA GAME TIME – If you love your basketball then you must get this app, time to turn your couch into court side seats. Get all the latest news, highlights and stats on your big screen.


Netflix – There are thousands of movies and TV show episodes available to watch instantly right on your TV via this app. There are never any commercials no matter how much you watch, and you can pause, rewind, fast forward or re-watch as often as you like.


NFL On Xbox One – Take Fantasy Football to a whole new level on game day. Manage and track multiple fantasy teams from and other fantasy leagues, all on your TV. The best screen in your home is now the center of your Fantasy Football world.


NOW TV – Addictive new shows and award-winning dramas on 13 pay TV channels that you won’t find on Freeview. Watch Live, Catch Up on missed episodes or watch over 250 Box Sets On Demand.


OneDrive – Get to your files from anywhere, on any device, with Microsoft OneDrive. Share and work together with anyone in your work and life.

Plex – A really nice and easy way to organise your video, music, and photo collections and also the ability to stream them to all of your screens.

Popcornflix – If you fancy compelling documentaries, foreign films, unique original web series, and a place that showcases the brightest film makers of tomorrow – this is for you. Skype – Skype keeps the world talking – for free. Call, share, message and express yourself with some brand new Mojis.


Smosh – Formed from a popular YouTube channel, which produces not only humorous videos but also cartoons and music video is now available for your enjoyment thanks to this handy little app.


TED – This smart app presents talks from some of the world’s most fascinating people: education radicals, tech geniuses, medical mavericks, business gurus, and music legends

True Achievements – This is a really handy app to have. You can track all sorts of progress and achievements in your gaming, also they have a solutions section to help you before you launch your controller out of the window.


TuneIn Radio – Enjoy the largest selection of free sports, music, talk & news radio from around the world.
