Augmented Reality and VR Show dated for 2016

Next year will see the launch of Oculus Rift, the headset that’ll make realities come to life before your very eyes virtually, and Microsoft’s HoloLens, the headset that’s set to take on the virtual reality with its augmented reality. If you’re a fan of these devices – and any similar – then take note of the following dates: 15th – 16th March 2016.

Over those two days the ‘Augmented Reality and VR’ conference will take place at Excel London. Billed as Europe’s biggest show for VR, augmented reality and smartglass devices, it will feature the latest apps and software, while visitors will be offered the chance to get hands-on time with wearable devices such as AR glasses, smartwatches and fitness trackers. There will also be demonstrations of the latest VR goings-on.

As well as the companies you’d expect – Microsoft, Intel, Google – there will be key talks from leading figures in the VR arena.

If you’re eager to go you can buy tickets here. Time is of the essence, however, as the sale for the Two Day Conference Pass tickets ends 1st December.

For more on HoloLens, check out how it swayed Microsoft to buy Minecraft, the device’s compatibility with Xbox Live, and how excited Mass Effect director Casey Hudson is to be working with it.
