Valentino Rossi is one of the most well known MotoGP champions of all time, if you dont know who he is you will probably of heard his name before. So far in his career he has won the world championship a staggering nine times!!
Italian developer Milestone (along with Valention Rossi) have just announced that they are bringing out a new game for all you serious Moto GP fans. Valentino Rossi The Game will be released sometime in 2016 and handily this announcement came just in time to co-inside with the Monza Rally Show 2015, what good timing that was. This new game will incorporate plenty of new details specifically chosen as a dedication to the 9-times world champion, along with all the classic features from the previous series and of course the 2016 MotoGP™ championship season will be there as well. Valention Rossi gave a statement about the new game, and he seems genuinely happy about it:
“I’m happy to announce that I’ll participate in the making of Valentino Rossi The Game, along with the guys at Milestone. We chose to include both the most important elements of my MotoGP career, and all the extra circuit stuff that are so important to me, like Ranch, Rally and more. It will be fun to approach the game not only as a gamer, but also as a ‘test driver’. I’ll work with the development team to make sure all fans will get the best experience they ever had”
Milestone themselves are excited about this new partnership, and its understandable really, Rossi is a ‘BIG’ name, and as such, will bring a lot of his fans over to the franchise who may never have played a game in the series before.
“We are really enthusiastic about this partnership and project. Milestone has been developing MotoGP for a few years, but the experience we are going to offer all motorcycle racing and Valentino fans this year is quite simply unique” Stated Mileston Vice President Luisa Bixio “Players can grapple with the entire 2016 official championship, but most of all they can experience the passion, professionalism and experience of Valentino Rossi, both in and out of the championship, with exclusive rally and flat track content, as well as much more that only the number 46 can offer.”
There is no official release date as of yet for this, apart from its coming out in 2016, so keep an eye out on XboxOne UK for news as we get it
