Destiny: King’s Fall Challenge Mode Coming in December

Just when you Guardians out there thought you couldn’t get enough of King’s Fall, Bungie are dropping some challenges in early December to entice you back into the depths of the Dreadnaught.

These challenges will change every week, and will ask you to defeat one of the bosses such as the Warpriest, Golgoroth or even Oryx himself, but with a twist. While no details have come about as of yet about what those twists could be, Lead Raid Designer Gavin Irby has said this much: “Each boss’s challenge requires that you defeat them in a very specific manner,” Irby said, without revealing the exact mechanics. “We’re going to leave that up to you to discover (but apologies in advance to those that run the single-pool strat for Golgoroth).”

What’s more, the 3 remaining Calcified Fragments are locked behind this additional content, giving some incentive to actually complete these challenges. We don’t know what happens when you obtain all 50, probably something cool, but at least it’s a reason to play these challenges.
