Minecraft: Xbox One Edition Holiday Pack available now

If you haven’t yet tried the blocky phenomenon that is Minecraft, there has barely been a better time as this Holiday Pack nets you the Xbox One edition of the game and seven popular DLC packs.

You (and up to three friends in split screen play, or seven online friends) can explore, craft and create and build in the wildly successful world-building sandbox game from developer 4J Studios.

Alongside the main game, this bundle includes two Battle & Beasts Skin Packs, the Natural Texture Pack, the City Texture Pack, the Fantasy Texture Pack, and the Festive Mash-up and Halo Mash-up skins.

Xbox Live members can download the game from the store or xbox.com for £23.99 now.

Amazingly, prone to intermittent fits of unexplained optimism. Lived alone and liked it so much he bought the company. Wouldn't mind being a little less clever and a little more handsome. Arranges words into painstakingly grammatically correct order for a living. Likes: Sunshine, TV, couch, cats, games. Dislikes: Rain, people, arranging words into painstakingly grammatically correct order. #ILHIMH

Yep, I got Minecraft as soon as it became available on 360, and then again on day one of availability for the Xbox One! The “available now” bit of the headline refers to this specific bundle – which Microsoft are calling the “Holiday Pack” – which was released on 24 November 15.
