Rock Zombie explodes on to Xbox One on 4 December

We revealed last month that Wii U, PC and iOS side-scrolling slash-em-up Rock Zombie is coming to Xbox One.

Spanish developers Quaternion Studio (of Rock ‘N Racing Offroad DX fame) asked themselves, “What would happen if a concert of a female rock band was invaded by a horde of zombies?” I guess that’s what you think about when you channel hop from The Walking Dead to MTV. Well, Rock Zombie is the answer to that question, and you can download it on 4 December, for £6.39.

The game sports 20 levels of zombie-bashing action, a rock and metal soundtrack, and (as you can see) some very questionable attire choices from the three selectable protagonists, Zoe, Sasha and Crystal. Seriously, it’s 2015, people. Put a coat on.

Putting aside the risk of hypothermia, the game treats players to a terrifying story told through 300 comic strips that punctuate the gameplay, and a wide range of weapons, costumes and concept art. Check out the trailer.
