Life is Strange 2 let slip by Dontnod co-founder
Although the quality of its ending is questionable, Life is Strange still remains a highlight of the past year with its compelling story and twists upon the episodic genre. That a sequel now seems in the works is a good thing then, no?
In an interview with French site Alchimy, Alain Damasio, co-founder of Dontnod and “script doctor” for Life is Strange, stated “I worked as a script doctor on Life is Strange developed by the studio DONTNOD and I will participate on Life is Strange 2 later.”
That’s according to Reddit, at least, and if you paste the sentence into Google Translate (scroll down to just above the Remember Me trailer in the interview to find it) the slightly mangled translation is surprisingly emphatic on the point of Life is Strange 2.
At time of writing Dontnod have yet to comment on the latest development, though art director and co-game director Michel Koch has previously stated the studios interest in creating a sequel, albeit most likely with a new cast of characters.
