GTA Online Boasts 8 Million Players Each Week

During an earnings call, Take-Two Interactive revealed how popular GTA Online is. 8 million players a week popular, apparently. I suppose the real question here is how many of those 8 million players are people trying to make videos for Youtube!

During said call, Take-Two also announced their earning results for the third quarter of 2015, ending on September 30, which saw them earn a net revenue $364.9 million. This is up 169% on Q3 last year, with the launch of NBA 2K16 and GTA V’s game and micro-transaction sales being cited as major contributors.

Other large earners were Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection, and the WWE 2K series. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick also announced that rofit for the quarter stood at $32.7 million, substantially better than Q3 last year, when Take-Two posted a loss of $35.4 million.
