The Jackbox Party Pack is Getting a Retail Release

Telltale Games (Yes, THAT Telltale Games) have announced they are partnering with Jackbox Games to publish physical copies of The Jackbox Party Pack, Jackbox Game’s collection of hilarious and wacky party games on November 6th here in Europe.

From the press release:

“Working with some of the best partners in entertainment, we’re excited to be expanding our retail offerings in stores this fall across all platforms by bringing the highly innovative party game, ‘The Jackbox Party Pack’ to stores everywhere.”  said Steve Allison, SVP of Publishing at Telltale Games. “We’re huge fans of the team at Jackbox Games. Their whip-smart writing and innovative approach to large group multiplayer via mobile devices in the living room and across the web is seamless, forward-thinking, and immeasurably fun to play.”

It should be noted, that this is The First Jackbox Party Pack not the second one, the first Jackbox Party pack features five different games, Fibbage XL, a game of coming up with the most believable lies. Drawful, which is basically Pictionary in video game form. Lie Swatter, which is a simple game of true or false. You Don’t Know Jack, a pop-culture heavy quiz show and Word Spud, a word association game. Each game can be played through a variety of devices, such as your mobile phone, tablet or computer. No need for any apps as the whole thing simply runs through a website.

The Jackbox Party Pack will be available in stores November 6th.
