Brian Horton Defends Rise of The Tomb Raider Microsoft Exclusivity

Whilst browsing the Rise of The Tomb Raider forums Brian Horton, The Game Director for the title,  has had to once more defend the sales of the game. Many fans are displeased with the sales figures for the recently released title, as well as the the Microsoft exclusivity.  VGChartz estimates sales in the first week to number around 301,000 units worldwide, with the majority of these sales attributed to the current gen Xbox console. This is lackluster when compared to the 2013 title, which sold over a million copies in the first 48 hours of its release. The user Peep Show … Read More »

Rainbow Six: Siege Could Have A Rocky Launch

In recent years Ubisoft have become known for releasing games that are glitchy and seem unfinished. Large patches have become expected very soon after the launch of one of their games. Assassins Creed: Unity is a prime example of this. Now it looks as if the developers upcoming game Rainbow Six: Siege won’t be any different. The recent Beta of Rainbow Six: Siege has shown us that there are still big issues with the game and Ubisoft don’t have very much time to rectify these problems. These only adds to the controversies already surrounding the game, with already existing issues … Read More »

STARWHAL: Narwhal floppy fun

Starwhal is possibly the most insane idea for a game I’ve seen in a while. Developed and published by Breakfall it originally came out for PC and became an instant hit! As with a lot of the recent indie type games it has now made the transition over to the Xbox, it is available to download now but wont be playable until 9/12/2015. This game is described as “a simulation of dreams in an ocean of the mind” and looking at it you can see why! It is filled with a host of bright colours and glitzy effects, enough to make even the most old school hippy feel at … Read More »
