Phil Spencer on Sunset Overdrive sequel, enjoying Tomb Raider

Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has opined to fans once more via Twitter, this time giving insight to a possible Sunset Overdrive sequel and the games he’s anticipating the most. There’s also Project Gotham Racing 3 coming to Xbox One and Cortana support in non-English speaking countries.

First up: Sunset Overdrive.

This news may come as a disappointment for some but the silver lining is surely that, if there is a sequel, there will hopefully be enough development time to put new ideas into what’s already a good IP.

Next: Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Here we have his comment on backwards compatibility support for Project Gotham Racing 3. Although Forza Motorsport is a worthy racer for Xbox’s backing, a Project Gotham 5 could be a real winner. That’s a conversation for another day though.

Spencer also responded to the question of introducing the new English speaking Cortana feature on Xbox One to countries that don’t have English as their official language.

Until Mr. Spencer takes to Twitter once more, that’s all for this time!
