It was announced during this weeks Black Ops Friday Livestream that Black Ops 3 will feature a brand new game mode. There will also be rewards for players who reached certain levels in some of the previous Call Of Duty games.
The new game mode will be called Free Run and will be practically a solo activity. It will be made up of challenges and puzzles that focus on movement and traversal. There is a slight online element toi the game mode due to it having leaderboards where you can compete with friends and other players from around the world. There will be four courses of increasing difficulty and according to the developers the later levels can become “fiendishly difficult”.
Veterans of the Call Of Duty series will receive rewards based on their previous experience in the franchise. People who have played Black Ops 2, COD: Ghosts or COD: Advanced Warfare will receive a reward based on what level they got to in the game. Players who haven’t yet reached the required level still have time to do so as the cap won’t end until Black Ops 3 is launched on November 6th.
