Halo 5: Guardians’ microtransaction prices have been revealed by 343 Industries in one of their blog posts. Everything that is available in Halo 5’s REQ system can be earned through traditional gameplay, but if you want to gain them faster, you will be able to pay for it.
REQ Pack/Microtransaction Price details:
- In-game currency cost: 1250 RP
- Microtransaction price: Not offered
- In-game currency cost: 5000 RP
- Microtransaction price: $2
- In-game currency cost: 10,000 RP
- Microtransaction price: $3
343 industries explained that the in-game pricing has been to set so that players can afford at least one REQ pack for every other game played. The expected amount of RP earned is 2000 RP for each warzone game played, meaning reaching silver and gold status shouldn’t take along, especially since each player starts with 7500 RP.
On top of this, there will be Warzone REQ bundle available to buy that is already included in the premium editions of the game. For those who aren’t getting the collectors edition, or limited collectors edition, these bundles come with two “premium” packs every week for seven weeks. A total of 14 REQ packs. This will cost $24.99.
