Additional Characters For Star Wars Battlefront

The long awaited beta of Star Wars Battlefront rolled out yesterday and people started datamining the files instantly. From that it was found out that Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader and Boba Fett might get company from a few others of the iconic characters from the movies.

So far, EA themselves has mentioned that the first three are “just some” of the playable characters, or Heroes and Villains as  they call it, that will be included in the game, but now we can also most likely add Han Solo, Princess Leia and the Emperor to that list. Seeing how these are some extremly well-known and important characters in the universe, it would seem likely to add them to the game.

The Heroes and the Villains are characters that you can unlock through power-ups found on the maps while playing a match. They each come with their own “super-powers” that make them a powerful addition on the battlefield. In addition to this, a game mode called Hero Battle was also hinted towards, which most likely is what it sounds like, you duking it out with different heroes in battle, though this is just speculation for now.
