Today sees the launch of Konami’s Metal Gear Online, the dedicated squad-based multiplayer component of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for Xbox One and Xbox 360. All servers are now up, and allows users to experience multiplayer action within the main game’s stunning open world locations.
The online element introduces Tactical Team Operations, and features a ‘class system’ that will suit each players strength and abilities on the battlefield. Also today, all Metal Gear Solid V Collector’s Edition content is also available to use within Metal Gear Solid Online, which can be found in the main game’s packaging. Day One edition users can also access their XP boost.
Metal Gear Solid Online component is visible within the main game’s menu, and a download patch is available right now.
