Yes yes, there you have it. Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, like so many other titles (AAA and others as well) will have microtransactions in the game. This however will not change the things you can play.
“Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will include paid options to save time and accelerate progress,” development director Francois Pelland told IGN. “The model for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is quite similar to Black Flag, allowing players who do not have time to fully explore our huge game world to still be able to eventually acquire the game’s most powerful gear as well as other items. Rest assured, all of Syndicate’s content is available without paying anything additional and the game has been balanced such that microtransactions are 100% optional.”
Personally this doesn’t change anything for me. MGSV has it, Halo 5 has it. It’s simply a part of things nowadays when people feel like some things in games are going too slow. And with this, all you do is simply unlock things that could be achieved through gameplay, time that you might not have. Does this change the way you look at the game?
