The Witcher 3 Next Patch Won’t Be Released In September!
Since The Witcher 3 launched CD Projekt RED has been patching the game to make it more of an enjoyable experience for the players. These patches have addressed issues with the game and they have also introduced new features to the game too. The game still has issues that needs to be fixed before the release of the first paid expansion pack called Hearts of Stone. Unfortunately we have found out it won’t be released in September and a precise date has yet to be confirmed for this patch.
CD Projekt RED Community Manager Marcin Momot confirmed the patch will not be out in September on the game’s official forums. He said it’s not possible to announce a precise date either, but it’s safe to assume it will not be showing up this month.
“I wish I could give you the exact date but at this moment it’s not possible – sorry. I think it’s safe to assume, however, that it won’t happen in September.”
The details for this new patch are scarce but we have learned that it will include a fix for the camera stuttering issue that occurs during the horse’s animation loop. The team at CD Projekt RED acknowledged this issue a while back and it’s good to see they are working on a fix for it.
“We’ve managed to address this problem and the ultimate fix will be introduced in the big patch released before the expansion pack #1.”
This week players found a glitch where you could freeze enemies with the Yrden sign. Activating this glitch takes some work but it’s not a game breaking glitch, which is always a good thing. The Witcher 3 Hearts of Stone expansion will be released on October 13th on Xbox One and don’t for get to look out for this patch before then.
