Weekly News Round Up! 13/09 – 20/09
Of late, I’ve been speaking to more and more people who are saying the same thing: they’ve not got enough time to play all the games that are currently releasing. Some even further – they’ve got a backlog stretching back months or, whisper it, a year and further. Is that the case for you? Anything you’ve not yet gotten round to playing or wish you’d spent more time on? Let us know in the comments! Because with this quick round up, it won’t be news you’re having to spend time catching up on.
This was the week Microsoft sent out invites for the “New Xbox Experience“, an Experience that came with a long list of possible issues; the November update which will make available to all the “New Xbox Experience” was outlined; an update which may make certain features run up to 50% faster. The Xbox app on Windows 10 will be receiving updates; and Microsoft’s patent for a new wearable device – featuring NFC-like connection – was also published.
Further hype was built for Mass Effect: Andromeda; Konami look set to cease AAA-game production other than PES – and announced some clothing DLC for Metal Gear Solid V; Bethesda defended announcing DLC for Fallout 4 before the game’s launch; sign-ups for the Need For Speed closed beta opened; and we got to see what comes with the special editions of Halo 5: Guardians. Some snowy Rise of the Tomb Raider concept art was viewed as the Tomb Raider reboot became available on Games with Gold.
Finally, there’s this week’s Deals with Gold till 21st September.
That’s it for this week, until next time!
