With Fallout 4 entering its final months of development, Bethesda has decided to give us all a taste of what’s to come after the game launches on November 10th. Below will be everything they talked about in their post on Bethesda.net.
Bethesda has confirmed after the game has launched it will receive regular updates for free. Just like they did with Skyrim, these updates will not only be fixes for the game but they will also include features too. With Skyrim the developers added features like mounted combat, legendary mode, kill cams, visual enhancements and more. They said they will try to figure out what new things us fans would love to see added to Fallout 4, whether they are small tweaks or brand new features.
Mods & Creation Kit
Bethesda has stated the most important thing in their games is the freedom us fans get to create our own unique experiences, and modding is a big part of that. Like their previous games Bethesda is making sure Fallout 4 is open and moddable at every step in its development. Early next year the new & free Creation Kit will launch on PC. With that you will be able to create your own mods and share them with others. But don’t fear if your not a PC fanatic the mods made with the Creation Kit will also be available first on consoles, on the Xbox One.
Bethesda has always done a lot of downloadable content for their games and that’s continuing with Fallout 4. To reward us loyal fans Bethesda has confirmed that a season pass will be available for Fallout 4 at the cost of $30 (around £20). Those that purchase this will receive all downloadable content that Bethesda ever creates for Fallout 4. Since they are still working hard on getting the game polished for its November 10th release, they currently do not know what will be included with this season pass. But based on what they did with Oblivion and Skyrim, they claim the season pass will be worth at least $40 and if they do decide to do more it will all be also included with the season pass.
