Strategy First And Tiny Rebel Games Team Up To Produce Flatout 4: Total Insanity

The PC and mobile game publisher Strategy First has announced that it is to team up with developer Tiny Rebel Games to produce the latest installment in the Flatout series, Flatout 4: Total Insanity.

The flatout series is a non to serious take on the racing game genre. The series is probably best known for its ragdoll physics that can see drivers been thrown through the windscreen of their cars after high impact collisions.

Lee Cummings, creative director at Tiny Rebel Games said “We’ve been fans of the Flatout franchise for years now for its focus on fun, accessible, over the top combative racing. The Kylotonn team brings tremendous experience in racing, and with them we hope to deliver a new FlatOut experience which pays homage to what fans love about the franchise yet goes beyond it in outrageousness, richness of environment and design, and community involvement”flatout1

It seems that this idea of community involvement will be very important to the developers of Flatout 4: Total Insanity. They will be offering all sorts of ways for fans to get involved in the ideas process and to see what is happening during the development of the game. One of the first ways that fans can get involved is by voting for their favourite track from previous games to be used as inspiration for a new track. Players can vote on the company website by clicking the link here.
