Yes It’s true Bungie has revealed but not confirmed fully that the Destiny 2.0 patch is mandatory to all players, whether they decide to buy The Taken King or not. What this does mean to you? Well that you will need to accept and install the update to be able to keep playing it. The update is 18gb on Xbox One, and 10gb Xbox 360, Of course, without them ever saying so it’s clear that The Taken King is bundled in the mandatory update.
