Harmonix Music Systems, Inc. and Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. have announced a rocking number of new tracks for their forthcoming release, Rock Band 4. Tracks include “Feast and the Famine” from the Foo Fighters’ latest album, ‘Sonic Highways‘; The Cure’s classic “Friday, I’m in Love”; “Still Into You” from Paramore’s critically acclaimed, self-titled album and wedding favourite “Brown Eyed Girl” by Van Morrison. A full lineup of the newly announced inclusions was unveiled earlier on Rock Band’s official Youtube channel and can be seen in the video below.
The new songs join an already impressively long list of tracks that are set to feature on the game from a wide variety of artists including A7x, Queens of the Stone Age, The Killers, Aerosmith, Jack White, Judas Priest and Elvis Presley to name but a few. Players will also be able to download up to 1500 additional tracks from the Rock Band store and will also benefit from being able to export songs from previous Rock Band titles into the new game. It’s first foray onto the next-gen consoles, Rock Band 4 promises to deliver a fully immersive, full-band experience including new modes that enable the wannabe Jack Black’s of this world to perform crowd pleasing guitar solos until their fingers, erm, tire?
The game is available from October 6th and can be pre-ordered from the Official Game Website.
