As reported by SegmentNext, on 8th June 2015, likely representatives of Electronics Arts, J. A. Kemp, filed a new trademark for something called ‘Mirror’s Edge Catalyst’ in Europe. A domain of the same name was reportedly registered on 5th June.
We know Mirror’s Edge will be getting a sequel in the form of a prequel, that it’s set to release in the first quarter of 2016 and will probably be on show at E3 next week, but as to what Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will exactly be is left open for interpretation. All we know for sure is that it’s a video game of some description.
