KURSK – A First Person Adventure And Survival Game

Teaser trailer of an intriguing game

Polish games developer ‘Jujubee’ announced today that the company is working on “KURSK”, an adventure and survival game coming to Xbox One. The game looks at the tragedy of the submarine ship from a new angle and will combine first-person action with a heavy focus on a carefully crafted story and an engrossing game play.

It’s also worth noting that this game is based on real life events. The Kursk was a nuclear powered Russian submarine that was lost along with the entire crew in the year 2000 as the result of an explosion caused by a faulty training torpedo, that disaster will be the setting for a first-person survival-adventure game.

Michal Stepien, CEO of Jujubee quotes:

“KURSK will definitely be a game for mature audiences looking for a unique and cinematic experience, there is still controversy surrounding the real fate of this Russian submarine and with our game we hope to raise and answer some questions”

Take a look at the trailer below, this really does get the brain going into overtime with questions about what will happen next:

If you’re lucky enough to be going you can meet the “KURSK” team at the Digital Dragons Conference in Krakow, Poland (May 21-22, Hall 17, Stand A), not forgetting that Jujubee is a sponsor of this event.
