Slightly Mad Studios Also Explains “No Multiplayer Lobbies Options”
Following the worldwide release of Project Cars 3 days ago, Slightly Mad Studios’ venture into “the ultimate car driving experience” has had a mostly positive reaction from critics and racing fans alike. However, the launch of the Xbox One version of Project Cars was not as smooth as some might think.
The Xbox community are not happy with the lack of multiplayer options within the game and the fact that there is no way to join friends in lobbies. This issue forces players to join random races with random gamers.
According to Slightly Mad Studios these issues stem from a fault with Microsoft. “first party reasons we can’t offer a lobby browser on XB1, we are looking into ways to improve the XB1 matchmaking.”
In other Project Cars news, Slightly Mad Studios has announced that a new patch is in development for the Xbox One version of the game, which will improve the perfomance by 4-7% and fix controller issues.
“we are working hard to address issues raised on the initial release. Stay tuned … I can tell you that Xbox One will gain at least 4-7% performance in a patch shortly and address some of the controller issues. We will look for improvements.”
