Kalimba- Content Update And New DLC

On Aprill 22nd Kalimba, the critically acclaimed platformer from Danish developers Press Play, is set to get a free major update. This update will include two new game modes, Llama mode and Puma mode. Two new DLC packs will also be released, Dark Void features ten single player levels while Co-optimistic consists of ten co-operative levels.


LLama mode consists of a local speedrun mode with up to six players. Each person taking it in turn to try to beat the time of the other players. Puma mode allows players to race against the ghosts of their friends or against Hoebear, the games AI.

Kalimba is a side scrolling platformer which offers the player a tough challenge as they navigate a pair of sychronized totems through a range of dangerous enviroments, solving puzzles and fighting boss battles on the way. The game can be played as a single player or in co-op mode with a friend. There are many different powers to master and high score leaderboards to top.

Both sets of DLC will be free up until the 6th of May for both existing and new Kalimba players. After that date there will be a small charge for each DLC pack and they can be bought both on their own or as a bundled pack.

Kalimba is currently available for digital download in the Xbox store for the reasonable price of £7.99.
