Call of Duty Ascendance is due to be released on 31st March, this the 2nd DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. It’s also available on Xbox LIVE first before hitting other consoles.
“Ascendance has it all, four all-new maps that were designed from the ground up for Exo abilities and the next chilling entry in the Exo Zombies experience. We’re really excited and can’t wait to play with the community in just a couple of weeks,”
Michael Condrey, Co-Founder and Studio Head, Sledgehammer Games.
Ascendance includes four new exciting multiplayer maps, the intimidating OHM directed energy light machine gun/shotgun hybrid, the OHM Werewolf custom variant and a brand new playlist which utilises the Exo Grapple ability to the multiplayer gameplay. The Exo Grapple allows players to reach strategic vantage points which is exclusive to Ascendance maps.
So, what are the new maps going to be called?
A five story apartment complex set in Sydney gives you more than the chance to take your fighting skills to a vertical scale as you blast through close quartered corners in this small to medium sized map.
This medium to large map takes place at Mt. Rushmore as an Alien spaceship has crash landed leaving a trail of destruction behind it. The map is suitable for most styles of gameplay with a three lane map which features a map based scorestreak to crack open an alien spore and instantly enhance your players abilities.
This man made, climate controlled circular enclosure feautres land and water routes throughout the central island structure, perfect for close quarter battles and capturing hardpoints. Keep an eye our for that river though.
A fast paced symmetrical map which has you battling your way through the black market exoskeleton industrial facility. Take advantage of the map based scorestreak which allows you to take control of an Advanced Repulsion Turret which emits a deadly microwave EMP to help secure key areas.
Return of the Living Dead??
The exciting saga of Exo Zombies continues with the celebrity crew of John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal who will fight their way through more hordes of the undead.
Wetting your appetite?
If that’s not enough to get your appetite going then you may need to know that this map is located on the outskirts of an Atlas facility set in Burgertown (their favourite fast food joint) . Also introducing a host of new robust traps and armaments. So, whether it’s the smell of zombies flesh burning or whether your team mate has decided to cook up a feast in the restaurant, there’s more than enough to keep you coming back for more!!
If you can’t wait until 31st March then check out the world premiere of Ascendance which will be broad-casted on Xbox LIVE Sunday 29th March.
