Fortified with ID@Xbox

As you should know now, throughout the day I am looking through the list of some of my favourite titles revealed by ID@Xbox yesterday that will be available to you lucky people this year.

Now we are going to take a look at Fortified. fortified_screenshot_2

Fortified is an exciting new take on action strategy games. It combines shooter, real-time strategy, and base defence mechanics in a way that will challenge players like never before. The game features a captivating visual presentation that is homage to classic 1950’s sci-fi films. You will defend your cities from sky scraping robot invaders and menacing flying saucers. In Fortified, your goal is to work as a team to defend your base against unrelenting waves of enemy robots.

Not only will you build defensive structures and engage in 3rd person shooting, but as a first for the genre, you will also be able to train and command units. Fortified features an uncompromising level of difficulty and victory is only achievable with proper strategy and role fulfilment on the battlefield. large

No concrete release date has been given, but Clapfoot tell us this game will be out this spring.

Remember to keep checking back with us throughout today where I’ll be revealing a few more. Until then…..here’s a trailer….
